BMR Smart Painting Robot P45/P65/M40/M60
what is it evaluated for?

The BMR Smart Painting Robot is a modular automation platform developed for decoration applications. With interchangeable spraying or sanding modules on the same base, it detects surfaces such as interior walls, ceilings and bay windows, and starts the task at the touch of a button using RTPC real-time sensing, without requiring pre-scanning or drawings. P45/P65 versions have a 60 L tank for spraying putty and water-based (latex) paint; M40/M60 versions are designed for sanding with a dust collection container. Reach height, output and transport dimensions vary by version; coverage rate and productivity increase significantly compared with manual application. The closed-loop controller maintains spraying and sanding parameters, while obstacle detection and limited climbing capability make it suitable for working on variable sites. The compatible materials list and compatibility testing for new materials are specified in the source data.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC

Key features.

Features compiled from source product information; evaluate according to the model and configuration.

01

No pre-scanning required with RTPC

The robot's real-time sensing system automatically recognizes walls, ceilings and bay windows, enabling work to start at the touch of a button without drawings, BIM or manual scanning.

02

High work productivity

Dynamic flow control and spray-on-the-go operation deliver a significant productivity increase over manual labor for putty and latex applications; increased sanding speed is also a target.

03

Modular platform

By fitting different modules to the same base, the robot can be configured as a P45/P65 (spraying) or M40/M60 (sanding), allowing one device to perform multiple tasks.

04

Variable reach height

Offers a working height ranging from 4,0 m to 6,5 m across different versions; choose P45/P65 or M40/M60 according to project requirements.

05

Closed-loop control

The three-domain controller monitors spraying and sanding parameters in a closed loop, helping maintain consistent flow and application.

06

Field durability and mobility

Enables safe indoor operation with mobility parameters suited to field conditions such as obstacle crossing, gap crossing, and climbing limited slopes.

07

Specified material compatibility

Compatible with interior wall putty, water-based putty, latex, and emulsion paints; compatibility of new materials is tested against specifications or samples.

08

Portability and size options

The dimensions and weights of different versions allow selection to suit project logistics; they are assessed according to portability and storage conditions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between the P and M versions?

P45 and P65 are spraying modules; they offer a 60 L material tank and different working heights for applying putty and latex paint. M40 and M60 are sanding modules with a dust hopper for sanding putty. Tasks can be changed by attaching a module to the same platform.

What materials does it work with?

The device is compatible with interior wall putty, water-based putty, latex, and emulsion paint; water-based interior paints and primers suitable for spray systems can also be used. For new materials, testing against the specifications provided by the manufacturer or a sample test is recommended.

Is pre-scanning or BIM required?

No. Thanks to the RTPC real-time perception system, a task can be started with one touch without pre-scanning, drawings, or BIM. For projects requiring BIM-based routes, alternative products specified in the source can be considered.

How are multiple robots managed on the same site?

BMR robots are controlled through a single application; an operator can connect to and manage multiple nearby robots. Field data can also be reported to central systems.

What should I do if I need to test a new material?

Before using a new material, check whether it meets the specifications provided by the manufacturer; if necessary, conduct a compatibility test using a material sample.
