Hybrid locomotion system
Moves quickly on wheels over flat surfaces; automatically switches to leg mode over obstacles or uneven terrain to maintain mobility.
QUADRUPED ROBOTS · GALILEO
Hybrid mobile inspection robot that transitions from wheels to legs.
GALILEO C1-W is a hybrid mobile platform that accelerates on wheels over flat surfaces and switches to leg mode when encountering an obstacle. IP67 joints and a wide operating temperature range allow it to perform missions outside indoor facilities as well.
SELECT BY TASK
GALILEO C1-W is the wheeled-legged version of the C1 body: it moves efficiently on wheels over flat surfaces and switches to leg mode to continue over obstacles or uneven terrain. The 22 kg body is light enough for one person to carry and can carry a 12 kg payload during continuous walking. Its joints are IP67-protected and it has an operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C, making it suitable for inspection tasks outside indoor facilities. Autonomous charging support and an extended low-power standby mode allow it to wait at its station between missions and then resume work. Its design is open to secondary development, allowing additional sensors and software layers to be integrated.
