UNITREE · Dexterous robot hands
Unitree Dex2/5
Gala-style tendon-driven hand: precise control and powerful grip.
Gala-style tendon-driven hand; precise control and a strong grip. Five-finger tendon-driven hand with 10 degrees of freedom (2 actuated). Lightweight, compact, and reliable.
Greater durability with a long fatigue life
The entire hand has undergone more than 100.000 fatigue cycles; the manufacturer presents this as supporting stable and reliable operation over the long term.
Impact-resistant construction
More than 100 drop tests have been completed. The manufacturer says the durable design aims to reduce the vulnerability of the precision hand mechanism.
Concealed internal wiring
Routes the cables through the internal structure instead of leaving them visible on the hand's exterior. In the manufacturer's words, the “veins” run beneath the shell.
Compatible with G1/R1 models
Dex2/5 is presented as compatible for use with the Unitree G1 and R1 models.
Lightweight and compact
The manufacturer also highlights the hand's lightweight and compact design.
