GALILEO SH1
what is it evaluated for?

GALILEO SH1 is a mobile manipulation platform built on a chassis with two arms and omnidirectional movement. The chassis can rotate in place and move omnidirectionally, allowing it to operate between narrow shelves without requiring additional maneuvering space. Its comprehensive sensing layer includes dual cameras in the head, depth cameras and 6-axis force sensors in the wrists, four RGB cameras in the torso, and 3D lidar and eight ultrasonic sensors on the chassis. Force feedback ensures fragile components are held safely. The end effectors are modular and can be selected for the application, ranging from two-finger grippers to three- or five-finger dexterous hands. A single arm has a payload capacity of 5 kg. Its onboard computing unit supports running models locally with high-performance processing capacity (based on AGX Orin) and can be enhanced through software updates.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC

Key features.

Features compiled from source product information; evaluate according to the model and configuration.

01

Omnidirectional chassis with in-place rotation

Thanks to its ability to rotate in place, the omnidirectional chassis moves safely through narrow aisles and between shelves without requiring additional maneuvering space.

02

Comprehensive sensing package

Multiple cameras, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors positioned in the head, wrists, torso, and chassis provide rich data for environmental perception and safe navigation.

03

Force-feedback wrists

The 6-axis force sensors in the wrists measure contact force, enabling delicate and fragile objects to be held safely.

04

Modular end-effector options

Flexible task adaptation is enabled by interchangeable end effectors selected for the application, ranging from two-finger grippers to three-finger hands with or without touch sensors and five-finger dexterous hands.

05

High-performance onboard computing

Its high-performance computing unit is designed to run models locally and supports offline or online improvements as well as OTA updates.
